The 'Ramzi' design

Ramzi Zourob is a 28-year-old displaced Palestinian with no shortage of stories of survival from his departure from Palestine in 2021. While his story is his own to share, it inspired us to create this design. We are all survivors of something, no matter the size of the trauma. We have our struggles, and yet we do not let them define us. We survive.
Ramzi is desperate to evacuate his family from Gaza. His family consists of 11 souls: his parents, four sisters, four brothers (all minors and one is an infant), and his brother-in-law. His father suffered a heart attack and stroke in early October 2023 and was hospitalized until he was forcibly displaced from Nasser Hospital. After spending many months in a tent in Rafah, the family was forced to move again due to the invasion. His father is still suffering from complications due to his inability to recover safely, with access to the medication and doctor supervision needed. In addition, one of Ramzi's younger brothers was the target of a sniper, resulting in a bullet wound to his leg. Another of his brothers was jumped and severely beaten while searching for food for the family.
